Click on the event to view the flyer. The Arizona Game & Fish Department will host the White Mountain Eagle Fest on January 25th and 26th at the White Mountain Nature Center. The Eagle Kick-Off Event will take place on Friday, January 25th from 5:30-7:30 PM and it will feature a series of short AZGFD films about eagles. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the presenters for the following day. Made In Greer will be in attendance and will sponsor a trivia contest with prizes.

The Saturday Eagle Fest Presentation event will feature a series of informative segments commencing with a Kids Presentation with live eagles by AZGFD project biologists at 9:00 AM. The program will continue with hourly presentations through 4:00 PM, including live bald and golden eagles, management and recovery activities, Golden Eagles in Arizona, Wildlife and Nature Photography and Eagles in Native American Culture, as listed in the attached brochure. In addition, there will be an Eagle Viewing from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Lazy Oaks Resort, weather permitting. Made In Greer will be in attendance and will be serving hot chocolate to attendees, along with discount coupons and a free eagle Make & Take with Cheryl Ford, like the one shown here.

The event is free, but a $10.00 adult donation to the White Mountain Nature Center is suggested. Please contact Diane Tilton at AZGFD at 928-532-3691 for additional details or questions.
